Tell- Let us
learn how to construct assertive statements. Explain the following example.
Note that assertive statements are particularly strong when they are formulated
in “I” form. Using I form, assertive
people express and a) highlight what they need or want, but also b) how say how
they feel.
Make small groups of 4 to 5 participants.
Invite them to give assertive answers to 5 statements. After ten minutes of
time, ask one member of each group to present the sentences written on poster
paper. Do the necessary corrections.
