Learning Objective
After the completion of the session, trainees will be able to
-          identify symptoms of HIV, AIDS
-          understand the vulnerabilities of women with HIV, AIDS in society and at work
-          understand how to protect oneself from HIV, AIDS
-          understand discrimination of people with HIV, AIDS  
-          see HIV as an aspect of drug abuse

Identify and explain symptoms of HIV/ AIDS                          30 Min

Ask the trainees to share what they know about HIV and AIDS and other transmittable diseases.

HIV= Human Immunodeficiency Virus
Attacks the Immune System

AIDS= Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome
HIV, if not treated leads to AIDS.
AIDS is the final stage of HIV and fatal


Ask the trainees whether they know the symptoms of HIV or AIDS. Start with the line- Protect yourself by learning the most common symptoms and causes. Then explain the HIV symptoms by using the visual aid.
