Add one more components called feedback. Explain that this is a very desirable one. Feedback is a response made by the receiver to the sender. This allows the sender to verify whether the message has been understood clearly. Having the feedback, the sender can take measure for better communication. With the feedback in the process.
Then tell them “All of you can communicate by speaking”.
Exercise: Ask the trainees to explain communication based on the following example.
Fareeda is talking to Ahmad her son and says: “Make sure that for once you come home early tonight and have dinner” He answers saying. “Yeah, yeah, I’ll try to be back at 8 pm.”

What is the message?
There are some hidden messages which can be discussed. What is Fareeda trying to convey?
What is the feedback?
There are some hidden messages which can be discussed. What is Ahmad trying to say?
Discuss the case and ask what Fareeda wants to convey and on the other hand what Ahmad conveys as a feedback.
