You should get a Service Book


Introduce the Service book and its role and functions. Show a sample of the Service book and highlight the details by presenting the same as an enlarged copy. Invite trainees to comment and ask questions.

You should get a Service Book
·        Records your work, experience, wage and benefits.
·        Within 15 days of the date of confirmation of service.
·        Should have copy. 

·        To be returned to worker when he/she leaves the job.
·        Documented evidence of work experiences and skills which helps to get higher salary.

Briefly summarise that a contract, an ID card and a service book should be provided. Also summarise once more that a contract should mention job descriptions, duties, wages and benefits. Further, it is important that termination of contract is addressed and mentioned in the contract.

Employer is forced to discontinue the employment relationship due to reasons, which are beyond his control.
