at home since she is late. There are only 4 people ahead and she is sure
that she is getting a ticket. Out of the blue, two girls from school show up,
people Hasina wants to spend time with but they never bother talking to her and
sometimes even make fun of her. She really wants to be friends with them. Now,
suddenly they behave differently and talk to her as if they are greatest
friends and push themselves in front of her. What should Hasina do?
Ask trainees to write a response and read out their response.
Write 3 groups on a Flip Chart and put card where answer fits best:
Group 1: They would get angry/sad but not say anything
Group2:
They would call them names, threaten them and shout at them and clearly tell
them to queue behind
Group3:
They would acknowledge their point but firmly mention to them that they have to
go back and join the queue because she cannot allow them to just come in.
Ask trainees to discuss the case within their group for five minutes and
answer the following questions
1.
How will Hasina feel in the particular scenario?
2.
How will the 2 girls feel and probably react to your response?
3.
What could be situation for Harmeed?
Ask trainees to write the answer on a flip chart. Ask one from each
group to present their response and ask them to hang up their answers.
Have 3 Metacards prepared: Group 1: passive; Group2: Aggressive; Group3
Assertive. Put the card on top of the flipchart.
Explain all 3 scenarios and the consequences.
