Goal Setting

might stumble every now and then but do not give up, keep believing in yourself and stay confident. If you are passionate about something continue working hard, one day you will succeed.

Introduce the session with a questions to the trainees what goals are. Ask them to write down 3 goals on Metacards. Let them present their goal and ask them whether these are short-medium or long term goals. Ask them to stick these onto the flipchart prepared. Highlight that Goal setting is extremely important for a successful life. 

Discuss the key messages of the text read with as their assignment. Ask trainees to share their 2 sentences. Mention that big dreams are important, however setting goals to achieve the big dreams is critical. Highlight the advantages of having a big dream and many small goals. Goal setting is a powerful process for thinking about your ideal future, and for motivating yourself to turn your goal of this future into reality. List them and discuss them when presenting the visual aid below.
