Sensitise about Fire and Electrical Safety     60 Min

Introduce the session. Introduce the hazards and risks of electricity and highlight the dangers around electricity. Shocks from faulty handling and equipment can cause severe and permanent injury or even kill. Harm can be caused to any person when they are exposed to ‘live parts’. Faulty electrical appliances can also lead to fires as well as causing injuries and loss of life, equipment and property.
Ask the participants about electrical accidents, what they are and what can happen.

·        Failing to address hazards or risks adequately.

·        Injuries: burns-shocks
·        Fire and explosion-or property damage
