Introduce Assertiveness 15 Min
Introduce the session.
Explain the concept
assertiveness using the following visual aid. When introducing the topic keep
in mind that for young people assertiveness is a difficult and challenging
task. Even more so for women.
It is important to ensure that people are not seen as losing respect.
Assertiveness is however critical when it comes to making right choices and big
decisions. It is important that young people learn how to assert themselves.
Keep in mind that being rude is NOT being assertive. This is a big difference.
